One of our recent customers TG Green recently posted on Tik Tok, about our conveyor that we produced for them.
TG Green are a ceramics manufacturer so you can imagine that they needed a conveyor that was suitable for moving products, that have the potential to break, in a controlled manner.
They seem to be pleased with the final result.
This got us thinking about what makes a customer happy, what is it that we can do to ensure that we get high levels of satisfaction, in as many instances as is possible?
1) Listen, Listen, Listen.
Customers approach us because they are after a company with experience, a company that has worked with lots of customers, having overcome lots of challenges successfully, in a variety of situations. That however is not to think that we should jump to conclusions, about what is required for a customers circumstances. Our approach is to listen to the customer, and to really get a sense of the work that needs to be done from the customers perspective. That is our starting position, to work from a place that doesn’t assume anything.
2) You are only as good as your last job.
We understand that for many companies the capital expenditure on a conveyor system, is not something to be taken lightly. That means that we approach every customer and job from a position of respect and understanding. We work alongside our customer to ensure that from the initial enquiry through to the product implementation, we are ensuring that everything is working, all questions have been answered, and that the product is operating to the customers complete satisfaction.
3) Being available from start to finish.
Have you ever worked with a company that seems to be available to assist, right up until you sign the contract, then the customer service drops off a cliff? How does that feel? It feels like the company was only after a sale, and once they get it, they lose interest. We understand that questions, and the information flow, is required from the first enquiry, up until after the product has been installed. We want our customers to talk to their contacts, and for their contacts to become our new customers. We also want and get repeat customers. That makes perfect sense. It only occurs though, if you are able to deliver to the required high standards throughout a project. We are here for the long haul, and we want our customers to come back to us time and time again, which is what often happens.
4) Professionalism throughout.
We understand that you will be under pressure to get your conveyor installed, and working, with the minimum amount of disruption to your business. That’s why we work flexibly, with agility to meet those needs. You may need us there on a certain day, at a certain time. You may need us to liaise with other parts of the business to ensure a smooth transition. These are things that we have encountered, usually many times before, and if it is a new approach for us, we are always up for the challenge. One thing you can be sure of is that we treat our customers’ with the upmost respect throughout the lifetime of the project, delivering our product with a level of professionalism second to none.
5) A quality product.
Finally it goes without saying that our product needs to be durable, safe and reliable. We have worked with most industries over the years, ensuring that we are providing what the customer requires for a variety of situations. We need to be sure that the product that we make and supply is going to meet your needs for many years to come, and that means that we use suitable materials. It also means that it is created by experienced and conscientious personnel, who care.
These are some of the core beliefs that we have at Central Conveyors Ltd, and these are what have kept us at the top our industry for many years. We look forward to working with you in the future, and as always feel free to reach out with any questions you have about your latest project. Happy to help.
